Are you willing to invest in missed moments? We didn’t think so. Contact us to ensure your wedding day is captured by professionals.

Capacity: Due to its intimate setting, the Jewel Box is best suited for smaller wedding ceremonies and receptions. The maximum capacity is approximately 150 guests for a seated ceremony and reception.

Photography Potential: The Jewel Box offers a truly unique opportunity for wedding photography unlike any other. The vibrant colors and textures of the flowers provide a stunning backdrop for portraits, while the natural light filtering through the glass creates a soft, romantic effect. Creative photographers can use the unique angles, the cascading water feature, and the architectural details of the Jewel Box to capture truly one-of-a-kind wedding photos.

Catering and Bar: The Jewel Box does not have an in-house caterer, allowing you the flexibility to choose a vendor that aligns with your taste and budget. Opt for a caterer experienced with working in unique event spaces and who can provide butlered hors d’oeuvres or a plated meal service. Due to space limitations, a full bar is not recommended. Consider offering a selection of wine, champagne, and beer.

Cost: Rental fees for the Jewel Box vary depending on the day of the week and the duration of your event. Rates typically range from $1,650 to $3,150, with an additional security deposit required. Be sure to inquire with the City of St. Louis for the most up-to-date pricing information.

Additional Considerations:

  • Climate Control: The Jewel Box maintains a comfortable temperature year-round, making it a suitable option for weddings in any season.
  • Restrooms: Public restrooms are located nearby within the Missouri History Museum. Depending on your guest count, you may want to consider renting additional portable restrooms for added convenience.
  • Parking: Ample free parking is available in surrounding Forest Park lots.
  • Accessibility: The main floor of the Jewel Box is accessible via a ramp. Be aware that the balcony level is accessible only by stairs.

With its vibrant setting and intimate atmosphere, the Jewel Box Conservatory offers a truly unique and unforgettable backdrop for a wedding unlike any other.
